Ask us to check a clinic

Run a clinic, or represent one, and want it in the directory? This is the route. Submitting is free and always will be. It buys a check against the published rubric — never a score, never a place in a list. A human reads the clinic's own website and records what is there, on the same terms as every clinic already listed. The outcome may be a listing. It may also be a public entry on the list of clinics we checked and did not list, with the reason and the date. Both are real, both are published, and neither is for sale.

What we read, and where

Four things, all from the clinic's own website on a stated date. The weights are public — the scoring section — and anyone can re-apply them.

  • Named surgeon. Does the site name a physician who operates? This weighs most. A clinic that names nobody is recorded as naming nobody.
  • Published prices. Is a rate in writing on the site, in whatever currency the clinic quotes?
  • Accreditations. Which bodies are claimed, on the clinic's own pages.
  • Longevity. How long the clinic has operated.

What not to send

Photos, testimonials, results, certificates. We cannot use them and will not read them. Everything in the directory is read off a public page on a stated date so a stranger can open the same page and check it. If it matters, publish it on the clinic's site and we read it there.

If you are an agency

Most requests come from marketing agencies, not clinics. That is fine, and the form asks which you are so we do not have to. It does not change the check, and it does not open a route to anything else: a listing here is not a link placement, carries no article and no anchor text of your choosing, and there is no follow-up conversation about any of that.

The request

Every field below is something we score. Answer as the clinic's website would — we are going to read it.

The clinic's own domain. This is the only page we read.

Name the physician exactly as the site does. Leave it blank if the site names nobody — that is a valid answer and we will record it as one.

We use your details only to reply. See our Privacy Policy.

Questions, answered honestly

Does it cost anything to be checked or listed?

No, and it never will. Submitting buys a check against the same rubric every listed clinic went through, and nothing about the score, the rank or the decision to list is for sale. There is no fast track and no way to have a rejection reversed other than changing what the clinic's own website says.

What happens after I submit?

A human reads the clinic's own website — not the form, not anything sent to us — and records what is there: whether a physician who operates is named, whether a rate is in writing, which accreditations are claimed, and how long the clinic has operated. Checks run in passes alongside our quarterly recheck of every listed clinic, so expect weeks rather than days. The result goes into the public dataset either way.

Can we send before-and-after photos, testimonials or patient results?

Please don't; we cannot use them. Every claim in the directory is read off the clinic's own public website on a stated date, so a reader can open the same page and check it. Material sent to us privately cannot be checked that way, and a directory built on what clinics send it is a brochure. If it matters, publish it on the clinic's site and it will be read there.

What if the clinic is rejected?

It goes on the public list of clinics we checked and did not list, with the observed reason and the date, in the transparency report and the downloadable dataset. That is a real outcome and not a formality — a share of every clinic we have ever checked is on that list today. Every rejected clinic carries a standing invitation to be re-checked: start naming the surgeon or publishing a rate, tell us, and we read the page again.

We are an agency acting for a clinic. Does that change anything?

Say so in the form; there is a box for it. The check is identical — we read the clinic's site, not the pitch. What changes is what we can do for you, which is nothing beyond the check: a listing is not a link-building placement, it comes with no article and no anchor text of your choosing, and a follow-up about any of that gets this page in reply.

Already listed and something has changed? Corrections go through the contact page. Every clinic we checked and did not list is in the transparency report, with the reason and the date.
