Hair Transplant Cost in Turkey (2026 Prices)
A hair transplant in Turkey costs $2,000–$4,500 all-inclusive for most patients in 2026 — hotel, transfers and aftercare bundled in. The same procedure quoted per graft in the US or UK runs 3–8× that. It's why Istanbul is the world's hair transplant capital, with an estimated 1 million+ procedures a year.

Last updated 2026-07-29. Method: the Turkey figure is computed from our own directory every time this page loads — it is the middle band of the clinics that publish a rate, not the cheapest one we could find. The US and UK figures are quoted exactly as their sources published them and are never currency-converted, because a converted number goes stale the day the rate moves. Canada is deliberately absent: we could not find a first-party published figure, and we would rather show three sourced rows than four with one invented. How we source and check everything.

What packages actually cost
| Package tier | Typical price | What you're paying for |
|---|---|---|
| Budget | $1,500 – $2,200 | High-volume clinic, technician-led, standard FUE |
| Mid-range | $2,200 – $3,500 | Established clinic, surgeon oversight, FUE or DHI, better hotel |
| Premium | $3,500 – $6,000+ | Named surgeon operates, capped daily procedures, DHI/sapphire FUE, VIP handling |
Ranges from published 2026 Istanbul pricing. Most packages cover up to a set graft count (often "maximum grafts" up to ~4,000–4,500). These three tiers are editorial bands describing how the market is priced, not figures computed from our directory — the table above is the one read live from our own data.
What's included (and what isn't)
- Included, typically: the procedure, 2–3 nights in a partner hotel, airport + clinic transfers, translator, PRP session, medication and aftercare kit, online follow-ups.
- Not included: flights (Istanbul is $300–$900 return from most of the US/UK), travel insurance, and usually a second procedure if density needs topping up later.
- Get in writing: exact graft count, who performs each stage, revision policy, and total price with zero day-of extras.
Why it's this cheap
Turkish lira costs, government-supported medical tourism, and volume. A top Istanbul clinic performs 10–30 transplants a day; the fixed costs spread thin. Surgeon skill concentrates where the volume is — the best Istanbul teams have done tens of thousands of cases. The trade-off to manage isn't price vs quality; it's picking the right clinic out of 500+, which is what this site exists for.
This page covers the money; the complete Turkey guide covers everything else — choosing a clinic, techniques, the 4-day trip and recovery.

Turkey cost questions, answered
At an accredited clinic with a named surgeon — yes, standards at the top clinics match or exceed Western ones. The risk sits in the long tail of unlicensed operators. Check accreditations (JCI, Turkish Ministry of Health), demand the surgeon's name, and read verified reviews before booking.
Three to four. Day 1: consultation and procedure (6–8 hours). Day 2: rest or PRP. Day 3: first wash and aftercare briefing, then fly home. Most packages are built around exactly this.
Package $2,000–$4,500 + flights $300–$900 + spending money ≈ $2,500–$5,500 all-in for most US/UK patients — still a fraction of a domestic quote.
Many clinics accept card payment and some offer financing, but wire-transfer discounts are common. Never pay 100% upfront before the consultation confirms your graft plan.
