Michael spent ten years working as a nurse before moving into technology, and brings that clinical habit — check the source, question the claim, read the fine print — to a market that badly needs it. He's also been watching his own hairline recede since age 19, so the research here is personal: he's the same guy this site is built for, comparing the same clinics and the same quotes.
Born in Cannes and raised in Paris, Michael moved to the United States at 23 and now lives in Napa, California. He has traveled extensively through Southeast Asia, Europe and Africa, and understands firsthand what it means to trust your health to a provider in another country — exactly the decision this site exists to de-risk.

A structured clinic database — price per graft, package ranges, techniques, accreditations — wrapped in the guides and tools we wished existed when researching: a cost breakdown, a calculator, and honest pages on before/after results. Read how we rank clinics for the methodology, including what we do and don't verify.
Medical review
We do not currently have a medical reviewer, and no page on this site claims one. We would rather say that than carry a byline you cannot check.
We are recruiting one. The standard is fixed in advance: a physician whose licence is verifiable in a public register, in a relevant specialty, with no ownership of or paid relationship with any hair transplant provider — especially not one in our directory. They read a specific page and send real corrections; we publish their name, credential, register link and the review date next to that page.
Two things this will never mean. It will not mean a doctor endorses a clinic — they review our writing, not our rankings. And it will not be applied site-wide from one review: a reviewer who read one guide is credited on that guide only.

How we make money
Clinics and partner networks pay us for qualified quote requests, and some outbound clinic links are affiliate links. Researchers never pay, and money never reorders a comparison table — sorting is by verifiable numbers. Full details in our affiliate disclosure.
