Best Hair Transplant Clinics in Ankara (2026)
Ankara's list is short and top-heavy. The capital has no package-mill industry — its clinics compete on medical reputation, and every one below names the surgeon who operates. It also holds the best-credentialled clinic in our entire directory: Civas & Akpınar, whose Dr. Ekrem Civas was the first Turkish surgeon certified by the ABHRS (2011) and Turkey's first ISHRS Fellow (2015). This is not a top ten — it is all three verified Ankara clinics, ranked.

The ranking
Score = accreditation weight (a surgeon society vets the doctor; a state licence is table stakes; an ISO certificate audits paperwork, not surgery) + years operating + transparency (naming the surgeon who operates, publishing prices). Every line below traces to a column on the clinic's profile.

How to use this list
Credentials tell you who is unlikely to hurt you. They do not tell you who will give you the best hairline. The five things worth confirming with any clinic here, in writing, before you pay a deposit:
- Who actually operates. Ask who opens the channels and who implants the grafts. In many high-volume clinics the answer is technicians, not the surgeon whose name is on the door.
- A fixed graft count — not "up to X grafts". That "up to" does a lot of work, and the quote follows the graft count.
- Before-and-afters matching your loss pattern, at 12 months or more. A great result on a different Norwood stage tells you nothing.
- The revision policy, in writing, before you pay.
- Accreditation you can check yourself with the issuing body — every credential in the list above links back to a source on the clinic's profile.
Questions about this ranking
By credentials we can verify, Civas & Akpınar — and it is not close. Dr. Ekrem Civas was the first Turkish surgeon certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, in 2011, and became Turkey's first ISHRS Fellow in 2015; the clinic has operated since 1999 and publishes its rate at $1.90 per graft. The usual caveat still applies: credentials are not outcomes, and a three-clinic field makes 'best' a smaller claim than it sounds.
Because we only rank clinics we have verified against primary sources, and Ankara's scene is genuinely small — the capital never built Istanbul's package-tourism industry. We would rather show you three clinics we can stand behind than pad the list with names we cannot. For what it is worth, all three name their surgeon, a bar plenty of Istanbul's biggest names fail to clear.
Yes, and this page will not hide it. Civas & Akpınar's published $1.90 per graft sits well above the $1.00–$1.50 band our verified Istanbul clinics typically estimate. What you are paying for is a decorated named surgeon and a low-volume practice rather than an assembly line — the exact trade-off between credentials and price this ranking exists to make visible.
Ankara has its own international airport, Esenboğa, but most overseas patients route through Istanbul, which has far more direct long-haul connections, and take the one-hour domestic hop or the high-speed train. Ask the clinic what its package actually covers before assuming Istanbul-style airport transfers — Ankara packages are built around smaller patient volumes.
